How a session works
From “please introduce yourself” to a scored report.
- 1
Before
Set up in under a minute
Pick your exam, a 10, 15 or 20 minute session and English, Hindi or Hinglish. Marshal, your AI mentor, briefs you and checks your microphone.
- 2
Minute 0
The Chairman opens
Every session starts the way real boards do: “Please introduce yourself.” Answer aloud, then tap when you’re done.
- 3
During
The panel takes turns
Topics are drawn from the syllabus by weight, and topics you scored low on before come up more often. A vague answer gets a follow-up before the panel moves on.
- 4
Any time
Pause, repeat or leave
Ask the panel to repeat a question, pause for a break, or exit early. You still get a report on everything you answered.
- 5
After
Review, then practise again
Replay each answer, read the transcript and AI notes with a model answer, see five scores and delivery stats, and download a PDF.
- Mr. S. Kulkarni · Banking Operations
What does the RBI do when inflation stays above its target?
- You
It raises interest rates to control it.
- Mr. S. Kulkarni · Banking Operations
Which rate, specifically, and how does that reach a borrower’s EMI?
Follow-up on a vague answer
What you get
Everything a real board tests, and the feedback it never gives.
Cross-questioning
Vague or incomplete answers get up to two follow-ups, the way a real board presses you for specifics.
English, Hindi or Hinglish
Answer in the language you think in. Transcripts keep your words and add an English rendering.
Delivery analytics
Words per minute, long pauses and filler words per answer, including Hindi fillers like “matlab” and “haan”.
Transcripts & notes
Replay every answer, read AI notes on what was missing with a model answer, and keep searchable notes of your own.
Marshal, your AI mentor
Knows your past sessions. Ask what to practise next, or how to fix one specific answer.
Scored PDF report
Scores on Clarity, Relevance, Confidence, Communication and Composure, with strengths and an action plan.

FAQ
Straight answers.
Is this the same as the real interview?
No tool can be. PanelPrep simulates the format most bank officer boards use: a multi-member panel, a self-introduction, questions on your background, motivation, situational judgement, banking and current affairs, and follow-ups when an answer is thin. Real boards vary by bank, year and panel, and we are not affiliated with SBI, IBPS or any recruiting body.
How are my answers scored?
Each answer is transcribed and evaluated on five parameters: Clarity, Relevance, Confidence, Communication and Composure. We also measure delivery — words per minute, filler words and long pauses. Your report combines these into an overall score with per-question notes, a model answer and key terms you missed.
Can I answer in Hindi or Hinglish?
Yes. You can choose English, Hindi or Hinglish when you start an interview, and switch naturally mid-answer. Transcripts keep your original words and include an English rendering, and Hindi filler words like “matlab” and “haan” are counted in delivery analytics.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. PanelPrep is free during the beta, and no credit card is required to sign up. If paid plans are introduced later, we will give you clear notice in advance.
How accurate are the scores?
Scores are indicative practice feedback generated by AI. They are designed to show trends and areas to improve — not to predict whether you will be selected. Real interview boards vary, and no tool can guarantee a result.
